For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, this comic is no longer active, due to me losing my access to Adobe Illustrator. I've found some possible alternatives, but haven't taken the time to make one of them work. At some point I may come back to this or start something new.
I thought they were magical crystal thingies. And I'm wondering if, once sliced, the skeleton can reanimate itself or must be remade inside the circle of green crystal thingies.
Not necessarily. ^/^ (Though of the roughly 200 images I sorted through, that was the only one that came to a point; incidentally, I find it a bit disturbing that there is such a thing as a "coffin calendar")

In earlier comics they were repairing damaged ones with the crystal thingies.
Coffin-shaped crystal thingies, got it.
A coffin would be truncated on the top instead of coming to a point.
